Software Developer
**Role Summary**
Join an agile development team to design, code, test, and maintain web‑based and cloud‑native applications. Utilize Java or .NET frameworks, cloud services, and third‑party APIs to create scalable solutions across multiple platforms.
**Expectations**
- Work collaboratively with remote and offshore engineers and product owners.
- Rapidly learn and apply emerging technologies.
- Produce clean, documented code that meets project deadlines.
- Engage in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, test, and debug features using Core Java or .NET (.NET/C#, Spring, J2EE).
- Design and implement database schemas (RDBMS, NoSQL: Cosmos DB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) and data models (Star Schema, Kimball).
- Build and expose RESTful APIs, microservices, and API gateways (Swagger, Zookeeper, Kafka).
- Integrate front‑end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js, ASP.NET MVC) with back‑end services.
- Use CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and build instruments (Maven, Git, Nexus).
- Employ cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) services (EC2, ECS, S3, Kinesis; Azure VMs, Blob, Cosmos, Data Factory).
- Contribute to architectural discussions and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure security, performance, and reliability of deployed applications.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in Core Java or .NET (C#, ASP.NET).
- Experience with object‑oriented, functional, and aspect‑oriented programming.
- Strong grasp of Spring Boot, J2EE, Entity Framework, microservices, and dependency injection.
- Database design expertise (RDBMS, NoSQL, star schema, Kimball).
- Practical knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related tooling.
- Familiarity with API design (REST, Swagger, OData).
- CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ARM templates).
- Front‑end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React/Vue).
- Version control (Git/Bitbucket), build tools (Maven, Jenkins), and testing frameworks (Nunit, Ajax).
- Understanding of distributed computing frameworks (Spark, HPC) and messaging systems (Kafka).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical experience.
