Cyber Security Engineer
Role Summary
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls across a multinational client portfolio, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks while safeguarding both digital and operational technology environments.
Expectations
Deliver end‑to‑end cybersecurity strategy, execute risk assessments, manage incident response, and drive security awareness. Collaborate with cross‑regional teams, external vendors, and operations personnel to align security posture with corporate and regulatory mandates, including NIS2, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain security policies and controls across multiple sites.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits.
- Lead incident response activities: investigation, analysis, remediation, and post‑mortem.
- Align global security initiatives and coordinate with cross‑regional security teams.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts (NIS2, GDPR, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
- Monitor, report, and analyze cybersecurity KPIs, incident metrics, and compliance status.
- Drive cybersecurity awareness and local compliance programmes.
- Coordinate with external vendors, security service providers, and third‑party solutions.
- Secure production and industrial systems in partnership with operations teams.
- Monitor OT environments for anomalies and potential cyber threats.
Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, GDPR, and NIS2 (implementation experience a strong asset).
- Hands‑on expertise with SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
- Proficient in Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience securing both IT networks and industrial control systems (ICS/OT).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) preferred.
