Job Description
Job Title Network Security Analyst Role Summary Identify, monitor, and respond to network and security incidents while configuring and maintaining firewall and network security infrastructure in a 24/7 NOC environment. Expectations - Deliver day‑to‑day protection for enterprise networks and endpoints. - Provide Level 3 support, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with vendor TAC. - Document procedures and train peers to sustain knowledge continuity. Key Responsibilities 1. Administer and configure Palo Alto Panorama firewalls; create/update policy rules. 2. Monitor network infrastructure 24/7, ensuring availability and security. 3. Perform maintenance on network devices: upgrades, security patching, license provisioning. 4. Deliver Level 3 network support: triage and resolve incidents. 5. Coordinate with vendor TAC to resolve technical issues. 6. Implement and adjust endpoint protection policies. 7. Configure and manage wireless, IPsec VPN, GlobalProtect, Cato ZTNA, and NAC. 8. Maintain monitoring systems: log forwarding, SNMP, and centralized tools. 9. Prepare technical documentation and conduct training for new team members. 10. Respond to client inquiries, provide guidance, and implement changes. Required Skills - 2+ years network/security experience. - Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail. - Proficiency in Palo Alto, Cisco, AWS (and comparable vendors). - Knowledge of VPN, ZTNA, and network security best practices. - Ability to operate in a 24/7 NOC environment and support Level 3 incidents. Required Education & Certifications - College diploma in Computer Systems Technician or related field. - Vendor certifications preferred (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PAN‑OS, AWS security). ---
