Job Description
**Job Title:** Security Manager **Role Summary:** Serve as an on‑site security expert for a Fortune 50 client, implementing and overseeing security programs while maintaining clear vendor‑client boundaries. Lead guard force operations, incident response, risk assessments, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver best‑in‑class security at scale. **Expectations:** - Tenacious self‑starter with influence‑based leadership. - Drive security initiatives to completion with minimal guidance. - Maintain high standards of compliance, cost efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. - Up to 20 % travel, including short‑notice deployments. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Guard Force & Vendor Oversight:** Monitor SLA compliance, identify cost‑efficiency opportunities, and enforce compliance with security standards and invoicing. - **Incident & Crisis Management:** Serve as tactical lead for incident response, conduct drills, investigations, and liaison with law enforcement and emergency responders. - **Risk Management & Tactical Oversight:** Perform security audits, develop mitigation plans, support new site launches and renovations, and supervise physical security systems (access control, CCTV). - **Stakeholder Engagement:** Act as primary onsite contact for employees and leadership; coordinate with Facilities, Real Estate, HR, and EHS; deliver KPI reports and executive briefings. **Required Skills:** - Vendor and guard force management. - Incident Command System (ICS) and crisis management expertise. - Risk assessment and mitigation planning. - Strong verbal and written communication, executive‑level presentation. - Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management. - Analytical reporting and KPI tracking. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business, or related field. - FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) training (or equivalent crisis management certification). ---
