Job Description

**Job title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Develop, customize, and maintain Epicor ERP solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies. Convert business requirements into code, build reports, troubleshoot issues, and provide end‑user training while ensuring high quality documentation and adherence to project timelines. **Expactations:** - Deliver functional, reliable code that meets specifications. - Maintain accurate documentation for all customizations. - Manage ticket and task queue to meet deadlines. - Provide training to end users and support stakeholders. - Operate independently, prioritizing work and escalating appropriately. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and test customizations, BPMs, Crystal Reports, SSRS reports, and queries. - Utilize Epicor SDK, C#/VB.NET, SQL Server, and Progress databases to create solutions. - Troubleshoot and propose alternative solutions to technical problems. - Document all modifications per company policy. - Manage ticket/task queue and meet milestone deadlines. - Conduct classroom training on SSRS, Crystal Reports, and Epicor tools. **Required Skills:** - Intermediate/Advanced C# / VB.NET programming. - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Progress databases. - Basic experience with Crystal Reports and Microsoft SSRS. - Familiarity with Progress ABL code and/or Microsoft LINQ (plus). - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. - Excellent problem‑solving, judgment, and decision‑making. - Professional demeanor in client and internal interactions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field **or** equivalent work experience. - Minimum 4 years of Microsoft .NET programming experience. - Epicor application experience is a plus.
