**Job Title**: Director of Compliance **Role Summary**: Lead design, implementation, and optimization of compliance programs across gaming, fantasy sports, and sports wagering operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks, AML/KYC standards, and privacy laws. **Expectations**: Develop and maintain enterprise-wide compliance policies, manage regulatory engagements, and oversee risk mitigation strategies. Partner with cross-functional teams to align business practices with evolving legal requirements. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, implement, and enhance compliance programs, policies, and internal controls. 2. Serve as primary point of contact for regulators, managing licensing, audits, and compliance investigations. 3. Oversee AML, fraud prevention, KYC, and consumer protection programs to meet legal obligations. 4. Monitor regulatory changes, advise on risk impacts, and integrate compliance-by-design frameworks. 5. Conduct risk assessments, lead internal reviews, and support external audits. 6. Train employees on compliance standards and provide legal guidance across departments. **Required Skills** - Minimum 5 years in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within gaming, fintech, fantasy sports, or highly regulated industries. - Proven experience managing compliance programs in dynamic regulatory environments. - Expertise in AML, KYC, fraud detection, privacy laws, and consumer protection. - Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to collaborate with executive teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school. - Active U.S. law license (e.g., admitted to a U.S. bar). - Deep knowledge of federal/state gaming regulations, anti-money laundering laws, and data privacy standards.
