Job Description
Job title: Business Development Representative Role Summary: A proactive inside‑sales professional tasked with generating and qualifying B2B, B2C, and D2C leads for a creative services firm. Responsibilities include outbound prospecting, appointment setting, and relationship nurturing to secure new business and grow existing accounts. Expatations: • 20‑25 prospecting calls/day • 25‑30 outreach emails/day • 2‑3 qualified meetings/week • 2‑3 new clients/month • Maintain accurate CRM records Key Responsibilities: • Identify & engage leads via email, calls, LinkedIn, events, and networking. • Qualify prospects using company’s criteria; assess fit and needs. • Schedule meetings with senior stakeholders and producers. • Collaborate with marketing to craft outreach strategies and proposals. • Manage and expand portfolio of existing clients. • Conduct market, competitor, and trend research. • Participate in professional organizations and trade shows. • Record all activity in CRM (Google Sheets, Monday.com, etc.). Required Skills: • 2‑3 years B2B sales experience, ideally in advertising, media, or creative services. • Proven lead generation and deal‑closing skills in custom product environments. • Excellent verbal & written communication; ability to engage technical & non‑technical stakeholders. • Cold‑calling, prospecting, and client demo experience. • Strong organizational & pipeline management abilities. • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, thrives in fast‑paced settings. • Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets); Canva familiarity. • Willingness to travel within DFW and nationwide. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience). • No mandatory certifications, but sales or marketing certifications are a plus.
