**Job Title:** Senior Game Developer **Role Summary:** Lead mobile and cross‑platform game programming, driving the creation of the next Angry Birds title. Collaborate with designers, producers, and platform teams to prototype, develop, optimize, and deliver high‑quality gameplay experiences in Unity. Mentor junior developers and uphold clean code architecture. **Expectations:** - Prototype concepts rapidly and evolve them into polished, performant code. - Maintain a simple, scalable code architecture that follows shared standards. - Mentor and support less experienced developers. - Work closely with all team members to implement engaging game features. - Optimize performance on mobile devices from the outset. - Deliver consistent, high‑quality UI and gameplay across multiple device form factors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement game mechanics, systems, and meta‑game features in Unity. - Build and maintain Unity Editor tools to streamline design workflows. - Ensure efficient performance through profiling, debugging, and optimization. - Integrate platform SDKs (Apple GameKit, Nintendo Switch, Android/iOS) and backend services. - Create cross‑platform UI components that adapt to various device resolutions and aspect ratios. - Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on code quality and best practices. - Collaborate with production, design, and art teams to deliver on‑time, high‑impact content. - Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and enforce coding standards. **Required Skills:** - ≥ 5 years of commercial game programming experience. - ≥ 3 years of Unity engine development with C#. - Strong C# programming proficiency. - Experience writing Unity Editor extensions. - Familiarity with platform‑specific SDKs and APIs (Apple GameKit, Android, Nintendo Switch). - Expertise in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization on mobile hardware. - Knowledge of mobile platforms, hardware, and performance constraints. - Ability to integrate backend services and REST APIs. - Optional: Experience with cloud services (AWS), dependency injection frameworks, and scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
