KeolisAmey Docklands, a joint venture between Keolis and Amey, was first awarded the franchise to operate and maintain the Docklands Light Rail (DLR) on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) in 2014. Following a successful 10-year delivery, we secured the next franchise to continue operating and maintaining the DLR from 2025 for a further eight years, with the potential for a two-year extension.

Job Description
**Job title** Head of Security and Revenue Protection **Role Summary** Lead the strategic and operational delivery of security and revenue protection across the rail network. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, enhance safety for passengers and staff, mitigate fare evasion, and support revenue performance through stakeholder partnership and continuous improvement. **Expectations** * Deliver annual security and safeguarding plans. * Oversee security and revenue protection contractors. * Maintain compliance with national rail security regulations. * Drive cost‑effective security solutions and technology adoption. * Build and develop a high‑performance security workforce. * Represent the organisation to law enforcement, regulators, and industry forums. * Manage budget, projects, and shift‑work requirements. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Security Management** – Develop and implement security strategy for network and depots; conduct risk assessments; coordinate with BTP and industry bodies; lead incident response and emergency procedures; promote security awareness training. 2. **Revenue Protection** – Contract and deploy revenue protection officers; optimize fare compliance through technology and data analysis; reduce fare evasion and revenue leakage; collaborate with customer service and commercial teams to improve passenger education. 3. **Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement** – Lead, mentor and evaluate security and revenue protection teams; liaise with external agencies (BTP, NHS, local authorities, DfT, TfL); present at industry forums; drive innovative policy development and best‑practice adoption. 4. **Operations & Continuous Improvement** – Plan and manage large‑scale security operations; identify improvement opportunities; communicate recommendations; manage budgets and shift arrangements. **Required Skills** * Strategic planning and risk management for operational safety. * Contract negotiation and contractor management. * Leadership with coaching, performance management, and inclusive culture promotion. * Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills in English. * Project management and continuous improvement mindset. * Analytical use of data to drive revenue protection metrics. * Ability to maintain confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion. * Shift‑work flexibility and occasional travel across the network. **Required Education & Certifications** * Degree level qualification (any discipline). * Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP) or ≥3 years experience to undertake CSMP with ISMI. * Minimum 3 years of security operations and line management experience. ---
