**Job Title:** Manager, Cybersecurity
**Role Summary:**
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity program, overseeing policy creation, risk assessment, incident response, and team management to safeguard information assets and integrate security across all business operations.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience and 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record of building and executing a corporate cybersecurity strategy from inception.
- Ability to manage a budget, allocate resources, and report program status to senior leadership.
- Leadership of a diverse team of security professionals; conduct performance reviews, coaching, and hiring.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor networks and systems, investigate security incidents, and lead post‑incident analysis.
- Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans; prioritize remediation.
- Stay abreast of evolving cyber threats and recommend mitigation tactics.
- Manage the cybersecurity budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Integrate security into all business functions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Deliver periodic reports to senior management on program status, risks, and achievements.
- Mentor and develop cybersecurity staff; facilitate performance reviews and career growth.
- Allocate workload, set project priorities, and manage resources to meet strategic objectives.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring to expand team capabilities.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, identity & access management, and vulnerability management.
- Hands‑on incident response, threat hunting, and security investigations.
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and, optionally, OT/SCADA/ICS environments.
- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC, and DevSecOps principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and project‑management abilities.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform tasks requiring standing, sitting, or typing.
- Willingness to travel or work nights, weekends, or on‑call as required.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
