Job Description
**Job title** Software Engineering Intern – Summer 2026 **Role Summary** Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software platforms, deployment pipelines, and automation tools across public and private cloud environments. Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, security, and system performance monitoring. **Expectations** - Complete technical tasks within sprint timelines. - Produce clear documentation for code, processes, and test plans. - Communicate progress and challenges clearly to peers and mentors. - Apply secure coding and configuration standards. - Proactively identify automation opportunities and suggest improvements. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines. - Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for code packaging, testing, and release to all environments. - Implement monitoring and alerting for system and service performance across Environments. - Document new development, procedures, and test plans. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban), review backlog items, and estimate effort. - Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to identify bottlenecks in CI/CD and propose solutions. - Leverage AI/ML tools to aid code quality, testing, and automation workflows. **Required Skills** - Programming/scripting in at least one high‑level language (Python, Java, C#, etc.). - Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. - Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and relational/non‑relational databases. - Knowledge of source‑control, build, deployment, orchestration, and configuration management tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.). - Understanding of public cloud (AWS preferred) architecture and services. - Exposure to Agile development practices. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on automation and performance optimization. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document and present solutions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Coursework or experience in software development, systems, networking, and security. ---
