Job Description
**Job Title:** CPG Assistant Marketing Manager **Role Summary:** Support growth initiatives for consumer packaged goods (CPG) product lines by analyzing market trends, consumer insights, and competitive data to optimize portfolio strategy and drive innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product launches, marketing programs, and performance analysis. **Expectations:** Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, ensure timely delivery of product innovation projects, and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance market performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze category, consumer, and competitor data to evaluate product performance and identify growth opportunities. - Lead creation of packaging designs, sales tools, and shopper marketing plans. - Monitor and report on sales, market share, and performance drivers. - Manage cross-functional projects for new product development from concept to post-launch analysis. - Coordinate marketing asset development and collaborate with creative teams. - Participate in marketing research and interpret insights for strategic decisions. - Track and optimize product/category financials, including P&L and promotional ROI. - Prepare data-driven presentations for leadership. - Ensure compliance with internal processes and policies. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in syndicated data tools (Nielsen, IRI) and data analysis. - Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills. - Project management and organization with ability to manage multiple deadlines. - Cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal communication. - Creative brief development and sales material execution. - Detail-oriented problem-solving in dynamic environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in marketing, business, or related field. - Minimum 2 years in brand marketing, CPG, food & beverage, or industry research. - Demonstrated experience in consumer insights, product launches, and financial analysis.
