Job Description
Job Title: Senior Account Executive Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end B2B sales for an enterprise SaaS platform in the education sector. Drive acquisition of high‑value school partnerships, manage complex, relationship‑driven sales cycles, and close multi‑figure deals while ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption. Expectations: * Close 5‑6 figure annual contracts with schools or multi‑school trusts. * Achieve quarterly revenue targets and OTE thresholds. * Deliver presentations to senior decision makers and manage multi‑stakeholder pipelines. * Provide timely feedback to product and marketing to refine the platform. Key Responsibilities: * Prospect and qualify leads through phone, email, and networking. * Conduct discovery calls with heads of schools, trusts, or governing bodies. * Deliver demos of the Zen+ platform and illustrate cost savings. * Negotiate and finalize preferred supplier agreements and other high‑value contracts. * Collaborate with Account Managers, Trusts team, and Customer Success to coordinate multi‑school rollouts. * Gather customer insights and relay to Product and Marketing teams. * Participate in regular sales strategy sessions and knowledge sharing. Required Skills: * Proven consultative selling and ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles. * B2B or SaaS sales experience with a track record of closing 5‑6 figure deals. * Strong outreach and prospecting capabilities, comfortable with phone and virtual engagement. * Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior leaders, with stakeholder‑management proficiency. * Strategic, commercially minded; balances mission and metrics. * Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑moving, scaling environment and collaborates when needed. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. * No mandatory certifications, but professional sales or SaaS credentials (e.g., Certified Inside Sales Professional) are a plus.
