Job Description
**Job Title** Product Development Quality Engineer **Role Summary** Lead quality assurance for product development, ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing non‑conformities, and driving continuous improvement. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain production flow and supplier quality performance. **Expectations** - Resolve complex technical quality issues impacting product performance. - Maintain production continuity by preventing line stoppages. - Apply systematic root‑cause analysis and corrective action planning. - Deliver accurate quality documentation (PPAP, audits). **Key Responsibilities** 1. Manage non‑conformity reports and inspect new components. 2. Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions. 3. Coordinate urgent quality issue resolution to avoid production stoppages. 4. Define quality requirements for suppliers based on customer and engineering specifications. 5. Track and report quality performance indicators (KPIs). 6. Prepare, coordinate, and submit PPAP dossiers ensuring completeness and compliance. 7. Perform periodic quality audits of suppliers. **Required Skills** - Knowledge of mechanical/industrial engineering principles. - Proficiency in industry standards (ISO 9001, automotive/industrial). - Metrology expertise and geometric tolerancing (GD&T). - Reading and interpreting technical drawings. - Root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving techniques. - Documentation and data analysis. - Strong communication; fluent French (oral & written). Functional English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent education and experience).
