Senior Data Scientist (GenAI focus)
Role Summary:
Design, build, and scale GenAI solutions integrating LLMs, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and agentic workflows to deliver marketing and insight products. Lead experimentation, act as the GenAI subject‑matter expert, collaborate with engineering to productionize models, and promote responsible AI adoption. Write clean, production‑grade Python and ensure models comply with ethical and privacy standards.

- Deliver production‑ready ML/GenAI models that provide measurable business value.
- Own the full experiment life‑cycle: hypothesis creation, test design, rigorous analysis, and clear storytelling of insights.
- Serve as the technical champion for GenAI tools, influencing architecture, optimization, and deployment practices across the organization.
- Maintain a culture of ethical AI, ensuring transparency, fairness, and responsible data usage.
- Continuously evaluate and incorporate emerging AI methods such as agentic workflows, multimodal embeddings, and memory‑augmented systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop fine‑tuned LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows for internal tooling and client‑facing products.
- Define hypotheses, design interpretable experiments, analyze outcomes, and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Act as the GenAI/LLM technical SME, guiding architecture, optimization, and deployment decisions.
- Partner with software and data engineering to productionize models, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and implement MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
- Stay current on cutting‑edge AI techniques, translate research into practical features, and advocate for AI adoption internally.
- Produce clean, production‑grade Python code for models, pipelines, and experimental frameworks.
- Manage timelines, provide progress updates, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
- Uphold ethical standards in AI development and use, especially regarding consumer data in media, entertainment, or marketing research.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in data science, ML engineering, or related analytics roles.
- Proven experience deploying ML/GenAI models (including LLMs) into production.
- Expertise in Python and modern ML frameworks; proficiency with GenAI stacks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, HuggingFace Transformers, and OpenAI APIs.
- Experience fine‑tuning LLMs on domain‑specific data (survey, behavioral, audience).
- Knowledge of retrieval‑augmented generation, vector databases, and agentic/multi‑step reasoning (ReAct, AutoGPT, MCP).
- Strong MLOps/LLMOps practices: version control, experiment tracking, CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
- Robust analytical and statistical modeling skills, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Excellent communication ability to distill complex models for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with consumer data in media, entertainment, or marketing research is a plus.
- Commitment to ethical AI and responsible data handling.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Certifications in AI/ML or MLOps are optional but preferred.
