Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Mechanical Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end mechanical design of aerospace and automotive‑grade products, integrating design, prototyping, manufacturing and supplier interfaces. Drive product roadmaps, design‑for‑manufacturing, and continuous process improvement while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. **Expectations:** - Own all phases of product development from concept to final BOM. - Collaborate with senior leadership to define product strategy and technical feasibility. - Deliver manufacturable designs, prototypes, and specifications that meet rigorous quality and performance standards. - Maintain transparent communication of technical status to stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD (Autodesk). - Apply design‑for‑manufacturing principles for CNC machining, 3D printing, and robotic assembly. - Prototype, test, and iterate designs to satisfy specifications. - Build and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and interface with suppliers. - Create and review technical specifications and product documentation. - Support testing and validation, ensuring compliance with performance and safety criteria. - Contribute to product roadmap development and process scale‑up. - Mentor team members on testing, design best practices, and user‑experience improvements. **Required Skills:** - 10+ years of product development experience in mechanical engineering. - Proficiency in CAD (Autodesk, SolidWorks) and manufacturing tools (CNC, 3D printing). - Experience with embedded systems integration and design‑for‑manufacturing. - Strong written and verbal English communication. - Time‑management, multitasking, and collaborative teamwork. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (preferred). --- *All information is presented without company, location, benefits, or additional commentary.*
