Job Title: Director of Brand Marketing
Role Summary: Lead global brand strategy and go‑to‑market plans for both professional and consumer segments, directing new product launches, 360° campaigns, and cross‑functional brand execution. Drive storytelling, creative development, and performance measurement while ensuring brand consistency and alignment with mission and values.
Expactations: Deliver measurable growth in brand awareness, engagement, and sales; manage integrated marketing budgets; mentor a small team; maintain brand integrity across all touchpoints; collaborate with digital, creative, sales, and retail partners; adapt to evolving cultural and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual global go‑to‑market plans for Pro and Consumer channels.
- Own positioning, messaging, and launch plans for new products from strategy to execution.
- Create and execute integrated 360° marketing campaigns that translate brand purpose into compelling storytelling.
- Leverage audience and cultural insights to inform strategy and content across platforms.
- Partner with Digital, Creative, Education, Pro Sales, and Retail teams to ensure cohesive brand expression.
- Oversee content strategy, public relations, and marketing communications for consistent brand storytelling.
- Concept, brief, and produce creative assets with external partners to drive measurable impact.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize spend, engagement, and brand health.
- Serve as brand steward, maintaining alignment with mission, aesthetic, and voice.
- Manage and mentor a small marketing team, acting as player‑coach and strategic leader.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years in brand or product marketing within prestige beauty, pro hair care, or similar lifestyle categories.
- Proven go‑to‑market and product launch success in omnichannel environments.
- Deep understanding of target audiences, cultural, seasonal, and digital trends in hair care and beauty.
- Strong marketing communications, content strategy, and creative briefing abilities.
- Experience in digital brand building, social media, influencer, and event marketing.
- Leadership experience with ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration, project management, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with data‑driven decision making and ownership mindset.
- Proficiency in AI marketing tools, Canva, Asana, Google G‑Suite, Microsoft Office.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in digital marketing, brand management, or content strategy preferred (not mandatory).
