Job Description
Job Title: SEO Manager – European Markets Role Summary: Lead and execute comprehensive SEO strategy for high‑traffic iGaming websites across European markets, driving organic visibility, traffic, and conversions while collaborating with content, UX, CRO, and dev teams. Expectations: Deliver measurable growth in SERP rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates for multiple sites; maintain a continuous improvement mindset; influence local teams and global SEO processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Define and implement end‑to‑end SEO plans (on‑page, off‑page, technical) for sites with >50 K indexed pages. 2. Build and execute an SEO roadmap in partnership with content, UX/CRO, and development squads. 3. Conduct market research, SERP analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify expansion opportunities. 4. Perform in‑depth technical audits (crawl, index, performance, logs) and prioritize corrective actions. 5. Analyze internal and external link profiles; refine netlinking and internal linking strategies. 6. Develop keyword strategies aligned with E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL best practices. 7. Run hypothesis‑driven experiments (“Test & Learn”) to innovate SEO tactics. 8. Monitor KPIs (traffic, rankings, conversions) using GSC, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and custom dashboards; deliver actionable reports to stakeholders. 9. Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and CRO specialists to implement technical and UI/UX optimizations. 10. Advocate SEO best practices across local teams; contribute to global process improvement. Required Skills: - 3–7 years of technical SEO experience on high‑traffic sites. - Expertise in SEO analytics tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog). - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, complex data analysis). - Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript impact on SEO. - Proven experience managing large‑scale migrations or redesigns. - Strong understanding of E‑E‑A‑T, YMYL, Google Discover/Top Stories, and AI/SGE implications. - Fluent written and spoken English (C1+). - Data‑driven, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills. - Proactive, organized, and able to juggle multiple projects. - Excellent teamwork and communication abilities. Bonus: Experience in iGaming or other highly competitive verticals. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot SEO, Technical SEO courses) preferred.
