Job Description

**Job Title** Software Engineer – Front End Focus & Data Platform **Role Summary** Software Engineer responsible for building, owning, and optimizing customer‑facing features in a real‑time SaaS data platform. The role blends full‑stack work with a front‑end emphasis, delivering responsive React UIs while contributing to backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. **Expectations** - Own end‑to‑end product features from concept through to production. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with platform, backend, and architecture leaders. - Take ownership of systems within a small, high‑ownership team. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement new UI components in React, improving front‑end structure and UX. - Develop and maintain backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs in Python (or analogous). - Integrate customer‑driven features into the core data platform, handling live operational data pipelines. - Support cloud deployment and scaling on AWS, including automation and monitoring. - Contribute to platform evolution, ensuring reliability, performance, and data integrity. **Required Skills** - ≥5 years production software engineering, preferably full‑stack. - Strong JavaScript/React expertise for building modern web UIs. - Backend proficiency in Python (or similar service‑oriented stack). - Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, etc.). - Comfortable with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure automation. - Ability to work autonomously in small teams, driving end‑to‑end solutions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, React-focused courses) are a plus.
