Job Description

Job title: Operations & Enablement Intern (Data Analytics) Role Summary: Interns support RapidRatings’ global data operations by ingesting, validating, and enriching company and financial data from third‑party feeds, clients, and owners. They collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain data quality, expand the coverage universe, and generate industry and client‑specific reports. The role combines data management, market research, and analytical support using SQL, Python, and Excel, facilitating informed business decisions for corporate clients. Expactations: - Deliver accurate, timely data updates and error resolutions for thousands of companies. - Contribute to strategic projects that enhance operational efficiency and insight. - Communicate findings clearly to clients, sales, and technical teams. - Show initiative, self‑motivation, and strong analytical problem‑solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Source, cleanse, and standardize data from Refinitiv, other vendors, and client feeds. - Review and update daily ratings, NAICS codes, bankruptcy filings, and public coverage databases. - Identify ownership structures from supplier/vendor lists and update client portfolios. - Conduct background research and analyze market data for sales/marketing initiatives. - Extract and prepare data for APIs, custom reports, and internal dashboards. - Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and manage bespoke client data solutions. - Assist Junior and Senior Associates on projects using SQL, R, and Python to drive efficiencies. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables). - Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. - Effective written and oral communication. - Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams. - Knowledge of financial statements and corporate finance concepts. - SQL experience preferred; Python programming knowledge a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Current Bachelor’s Degree candidate (any major). - No specific certifications required.
