Job Description

Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and automation of security controls for large‑scale, cloud‑native environments on AWS and Azure, ensuring secure architecture and rapid delivery. Expectations: - Deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions at pace. - Act as a trusted security advisor to platform and DevOps teams. - Drive continuous improvement of security posture and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design & implement security controls across AWS & Azure. - Secure cloud networking, identity, and data at scale. - Automate security controls using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation). - Assess environments, identify risks, and lead remediation. - Respond to and investigate cloud security incidents. - Advise on secure cloud architecture and best practices. - Continuously improve cloud security standards and automation. Required Skills: - 3+ years as Cloud Security Engineer or equivalent. - Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices & threat models. - Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services. - Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent). - Experience securing containers, Kubernetes, and serverless workloads. - Familiarity with cloud monitoring & incident response tools. - Strong collaboration skills in fast‑paced environments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. - Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
