**Job Title:**
Senior ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and optimize enterprise‑scale ServiceNow solutions. Lead technical delivery, enforce platform standards, mentor peers, and drive continuous improvement across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver high‑quality ServiceNow applications that align with enterprise architecture and governance.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering best‑practice adoption.
- Serve as a technical lead in agile sprints, ensuring timely, compliant releases.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead development and configuration of ServiceNow solutions following architecture and platform standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, and deliverables.
- Build advanced components: Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer/IntegrationHub workflows, ACLs, security configurations, custom applications (App Engine), and scoped development.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and external authentication.
- Ensure performance, scalability, maintainability, and compliance of ServiceNow implementations.
- Provide technical leadership in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and solution reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing and development standards.
- Support production releases, troubleshoot complex issues, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, configurations, and technical decisions.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years hands‑on ServiceNow development in complex environments.
- Deep expertise in ITSM, CMDB/CSDM principles, Workflow/Flow Designer, Service Portal/UI Builder.
- Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting patterns.
- Enterprise integration design (REST/SOAP, MID Server, data imports).
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service‑management models.
- Agile delivery experience (Scrum) with cross‑functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one module (e.g., ITSM, ITIL, CMDB).
- (Optional) Additional certifications in ITOM, SecOps, GRC, HRSD, or CSM.
