Job Description
**Job Title** Strategic Advisor – Wealth Management Partnerships & Industry Relations **Role Summary** Provide high‑level guidance and introductions to accelerate enterprise partnerships for an AI‑native tax‑planning platform. Advise on partner positioning, messaging, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategy, while strengthening partnership materials and identifying critical integrations. Engage selectively in executive calls to lend credibility and unblock momentum. **Expectations** - Deliver warm introductions to target partners and stakeholders. - Coach on positioning, messaging, and pricing that align with wealth‑management procurement. - Participate in executive calls to provide authority and accelerate discussions. - Review and refine partnership materials (one‑pagers, pitch decks, diligence packets). - Identify essential integrations and workflows for platform adoption. - Shape go‑to‑market strategy, ICP segmentation, use‑case validation, packaging, and sales motion. - Identify, prioritize, and define partnership models (referral, co‑marketing, marketplace, integration, enterprise pilot). - Optional: co‑create thought‑leadership content and participate in advisor councils. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Warm introductions to broker‑dealers, RIAs, TAMPs, custodians, and wealth‑tech platforms. 2. Advise on partner positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies. 3. Engage in select executive calls to lend credibility. 4. Review and strengthen partnership collateral (one‑pagers, pitch narratives, diligence packets). 5. Identify must‑have integrations and workflows for platform adoption. 6. Guide go‑to‑market strategy: ICP segmentation, use‑case validation, packaging/pricing, sales motion (demo‑first vs trial‑first, solo vs team vs enterprise). 7. Identify and prioritize partnership targets and define partnership models. 8. Facilitate warm introductions and manage partner conversations. 9. Optional: contribute to webinars, conference talks, advisor education, and advisor councils. **Required Skills** - 10+ years in wealth management, advisory services, or fintech serving advisors. - Deep, trusted relationships within RIAs, TAMPs, custodians, planning tech, CRM vendors, or large family offices. - Proven experience in GTM strategy, partnership development, product adoption, and platform growth in the advisor ecosystem. - Leadership experience at or with RIA aggregators, TAMPs, custodians, planning tech, CRM/practice‑management vendors, or large RIAs/family offices. - Demonstrated success launching or scaling integrations, marketplaces, or distribution partnerships. - Understanding of compliance expectations and responsible packaging of planning insights for RIA/BD environments. - Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder‑management, and advisory skills. - Ability to work flexibly (2–10 hours/week). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. - CFP®, CFA®, or equivalent certification preferred (not mandatory).
