Job Description
**Job title:** Scheme & Network Relationship Manager **Role Summary:** Own and manage operational relationships with card schemes and local payment methods (LPMs). Serve as the primary point of contact for scheme queries, certification coordination, and rule interpretation. Work cross‑functionally with Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Delivery, Security, and Sales to eliminate scheme friction, support timely certifications, and guide product design around scheme constraints. **Expectations:** - Maintain zero missed scheme or LPM deadlines. - Complete all certifications on time. - Reduce late‑stage scheme blockers in deals. - Accelerate onboarding of acquirers and devices. - Deliver clear, consistent internal scheme guidance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and nurture operational relationships with global card schemes, local debit schemes, meal vouchers, fuel cards, and semi‑closed networks. - Act as Aevi’s first point of contact for all scheme and LPM questions. - Track and analyze scheme rules, bulletins, mandates, and roadmaps. - Coordinate certification processes for SmartPOS, SoftPOS, unattended, wallets, and value‑added services. - Provide early support and clarity to sales, partnership, product, and delivery teams to prevent scheme blockers. - Interpret scheme rules across acquirers, devices, geographies, and use cases. - Maintain internal documentation on what is allowed, restricted, or high risk. - Join scheme calls, briefings, review new bulletins, answer internal questions, and coordinate timing with certification teams. **Required Skills:** - Deep understanding of card schemes and payment networks. - Ability to interpret and explain complex scheme rules clearly. - Proven experience coordinating cross‑team projects (product, engineering, delivery, compliance). - Strong communication under pressure; calm, precise stakeholder interaction. - Hands‑on experience with scheme certifications and engagement. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Relevant degree in finance, technology, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. - Background in payments, financial services, or technology preferred.
