**Job Title**
Automations Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and scale automated systems that drive revenue operations and customer success within a B2B marketplace for home services. Acts as the bridge between product, sales, and success teams, leveraging automation, data pipelines, and process design to eliminate friction, accelerate customer onboarding, and unlock growth.
**Expactations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end automated workflows that replace manual processes and reduce time‑to‑value.
- Build realtime dashboards and reporting to monitor key revenue metrics.
- Own the onboarding experience, ensuring new partners launch and refer jobs within minimal friction.
- Iterate quickly, ship solutions, analyze results, and refine strategies in a fast‑moving startup environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and maintain the go‑to‑market tech stack (CRM, automation platforms, data pipelines).
- Develop and deploy integrations between core systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, predictive models, and dashboards for revenue and funnel performance.
- Partner with leadership to refine go‑to‑market strategy, experiment with product‑led growth (PLG) tactics, and optimize conversion, retention, and revenue per customer.
- Own the end‑to‑end revenue operations across the customer lifecycle, from acquisition to expansion.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n, AI agents) and ability to deploy them at scale.
- Proven experience operating within a two‑sided marketplace, understanding liquidity, network effects, and incentive design.
- Hands‑on knowledge of PLG principles – instrumentation of self‑serve funnels, activation flows, and expansion plays.
- Technical foundation (software, data, or technical operations) – comfortable reading, writing code, and building scripts.
- Strong data analysis skills (SQL, Python, or equivalent) to build models and extract actionable insights.
- Ownership mindset – ability to ship, learn, and iterate without waiting for perfect conditions.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications in automation or data engineering preferred but not mandatory.
