Job Description

Job title: Founding Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of Hyperscale’s core AI‑powered platform, building end‑to‑end features from data models to conversational UX, while ensuring scalable, reliable infrastructure for autonomous agents in production. Expectations: Own significant product components, influence engineering culture, collaborate closely with founders and customers, and drive rapid, high‑impact iteration on mission‑critical AI‑driven logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities - Engineer full‑stack features, from backend APIs and databases to real‑time voice interfaces and agentic UX. - Design scalable systems for agent orchestration, memory, tool execution, and real‑time communication handling thousands of interactions. - Build observability, monitoring, deployment pipelines, and incident response for enterprise‑scale autonomous agent workloads. - Mentor junior engineers, set coding standards, and establish practices that support rapid growth. - Translate customer requirements into elegant technical designs, evaluate emerging AI technologies, and lead architecture discussions. Required Skills - 5+ years of software engineering with full‑stack application delivery. - Strong backend fundamentals: databases, APIs, session management, and web application architecture. - Experience designing and scaling production systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and observability. - Ability to ship complete features from concept through deployment, balancing velocity with quality. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Comfortable with rapid technology adoption and cross‑stack learning. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required, but experience in AI/ML product development or telephony systems is highly valued.
