Job title: Staff Frontend Engineer Role Summary: Own design, architecture, and evolution of large‑scale React/Next.js frontends serving hundreds of thousands of users. Drive performance, reliability, and maintainability, while coordinating with backend and Solana teams. Expectations: Deliver high‑impact features with minimal guidance; set high code quality standards; mentor peers; rapidly iterate in an intense, high‑satisfaction environment. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and maintain large‑scale frontend systems using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Own rendering performance, state management, data fetching, and critical user flows. - Design scalable abstractions and patterns that grow with product complexity. - Define client–server boundaries in collaboration with backend and Solana engineers. - Lead end‑to‑end frontend initiatives from technical design through production rollout. - Enforce rigorous code quality, testing, and operational readiness across the codebase. - Mentor and unblock frontend engineers through reviews, pairing, and guidance. Required Skills: - Deep, production‑grade experience with React and Next.js. - Strong TypeScript proficiency and familiarity with close‑to‑metal optimization. - Deep knowledge of browser internals, rendering pipelines, and performance tuning. - Proven track record of building and scaling frontends for large user bases. - Ability to balance developer velocity with long‑term maintainability. - Pragmatic decision‑making skills in fast‑moving, resource‑constrained contexts. - Interest in crypto or high‑scale consumer products.
