**Job Title:** Network Administrator
**Role Summary:**
Responsible for the operation, evolution, and security of client network and telecommunications infrastructure. Acts as a Level‑3 technical resource, drives on‑prem and Azure cloud projects, and serves as the reference expert for Fortinet and Azure networking environments.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver timely resolution of Level‑2 and Level‑3 network incidents.
- Maintain high‑availability and security of firewall, VPN, and Wi‑Fi services.
- Lead and contribute to network design, migration, and implementation projects for multiple clients.
- Provide technical guidance and audit recommendations to improve client infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Handle network request and incident tickets (L2/L3).
- Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls: policy creation, web filtering, IPS, and traffic flow.
- Administer VPN solutions, including SAML and Microsoft Entra ID authentication, and centralize management via FortiEMS.
- Manage FortiAP Wi‑Fi deployments and FortiSwitch VLAN/switch configuration.
- Design, deploy, and support Azure network services: routing, peering, load balancing, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS Resolver.
- Deploy and maintain FortiSASE and SD‑WAN solutions.
- Perform network infrastructure audits for new clients and provide technical recommendations.
- Participate in migration and integration projects, including FortiGate deployment in Azure.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of IP networking, routing, VLAN, VPN, and firewall technology.
- Expert in Fortinet ecosystem (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiSASE, FortiEMS).
- Strong understanding of Azure networking (Network Watcher, Route Table, VNet, Application/Load Balancer, ExpressRoute).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues.
- Experience in a multi‑client (MSP) environment.
- Familiarity with other networking/security platforms (e.g., Cisco, SonicWall, WatchGuard, Ubiquiti) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SASE and next‑gen SD‑WAN concepts.
- Analytical mindset, high technical rigor, autonomy, and strong client‑facing communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or comparable experience).
- Fortinet: NSE 6 – FortiSwitch Administrator; NSE 6 – Fortinet Azure Cloud Security Administrator; NSE 7 – FortiSASE Administrator.
- Microsoft Azure: AZ‑900 – Azure Fundamentals; AZ‑700 – Azure Network Engineer Associate.
