Job Description
**Job Title** Global Product Manager **Role Summary** 12‑month fixed‑term contract focused on maternity cover. Responsible for end‑to‑end product lifecycle, category strategy, portfolio optimisation, and global launches for a leading cookware and homeware brand operating in >60 markets. **Expectations** - Deliver product and category plans that meet sales and profit targets. - Influence cross‑functional teams, adjusting strategies based on market insights, regulatory changes, and consumer preferences. - Drive global launches, promotional initiatives, and merchandising to maximise margin mix. - Maintain accurate forecasts, budgets, and financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities** - Own and update the global product roadmap and portfolio decisions. - Conduct market research, competitive pricing analysis, and consumer trend monitoring to identify growth opportunities. - Define and implement category strategies, pricing, and merchandising plans. - Plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns in partnership with marketing. - Analyse sales KPIs and financial reports to provide data‑driven recommendations. - Advise sales and marketing teams on category strategy execution. - Develop and manage the category budget and forecast revenue. - Coordinate with operations and engineering to ensure on‑time, on‑cost delivery meeting quality standards. - Evaluate product life‑cycle stages and recommend rationalisation or new‑entry actions. - Keep abreast of industry regulations, emerging technologies, and best practices. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in global category or product management (preferably in cookware, kitchenware or consumer goods). - Strong analytical and quantitative skills for market, pricing, and sales analysis. - Project management and execution across cross‑functional teams. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. - Familiarity with global supply‑chain, operations and engineering collaboration. - Ability to adapt strategy in response to market dynamics and regulatory changes. - Proficiency in product management tools (JIRA, Trello, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint). - Results‑driven focus on revenue and margin optimisation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). - Product Management or Category Management certification (e.g., CPM, Pegboard, or equivalent) is an advantage.
