**Job Title:** Clinical Researcher
**Role Summary:**
Translate clinical data and insights into actionable business strategies for pharmaceutical development and commercialization. Analyze trial designs, outcomes, and regulatory updates to guide product positioning, go/no‑go decisions, and trial protocol design.
**Expectations:**
- 5–10+ years in clinical research, medical affairs, competitive intelligence, or scientific strategy within pharma/biotech or life‑sciences consulting.
- Strong grasp of clinical trial design, statistical concepts, endpoints, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to evaluate competitor pipelines and clinical findings for strategic impact.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Conduct in‑depth reviews of clinical papers, publications, posters, and presentations.
2. Assess strengths, limitations, and applicability of clinical findings to ongoing/planned programs.
3. Analyze competitor pipelines, outcomes, regulatory updates, and scientific literature for competitive positioning.
4. Translate scientific and clinical findings into business insights for market positioning, product differentiation, and development decisions.
5. Develop evidence‑based clinical recommendations for strategy, business development, lifecycle management, and portfolio decisions.
6. Select, engage, and manage clinical research organizations (CROs) for trial execution.
7. Prepare concise scientific and strategic summaries for internal leadership, including dashboards and executive‑ready slides.
8. Provide rapid‑turnaround summaries and strategic implications of newly released data.
9. Identify early scientific signals indicating future competitive threats or partnership opportunities.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep literature review and critical appraisal.
- Ability to distill complex clinical data into clear business insights.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel, data visualization).
- Proficiency with PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and related research tools.
- Analytical mindset with rigorous scientific rigor plus business orientation.
- Detail orientation and data synthesis capabilities.
- Cross‑functional collaboration, especially with non‑scientific stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related fields.
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MS, MPH, PhD) preferred, particularly for roles requiring heavy scientific interpretation.
