Job Description
Job Title: General Manager Role Summary: Lead all operations and growth initiatives for a flagship franchise location covering Vancouver, Burnaby, and Fraser Valley. Own P&L, KPIs, recruitment, culture, safety, and customer engagement while driving residential and commercial sales. Expectations: Deliver predictable financial performance, strong profitability, a high‑engaging team, outstanding customer reviews, full compliance, and rapid, data‑driven decision‑making with minimal owner involvement. Key Responsibilities: - Own P&L, budgeting, forecasts and KPI tracking (Revenue, AJS, RPH, Profitability, Wage %). - Set and cascade quarterly and annual goals; conduct weekly alignment meetings. - Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing operations and sales team; sustain employee engagement and retention. - Maintain operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement. - Own customer service, escalation, Google reviews, and NPS metrics. - Drive residential guerilla marketing and commercial partnership pipeline growth. - Ensure 100 % franchisor compliance and system integration. Required Skills: - Proven general management experience in multi‑department or franchise environments. - Strong financial acumen, KPI‑driven leadership, and data‑based decision making. - Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities. - Customer‑focused mindset with high service standards. - Leadership ability to inspire, hold teams accountable, and build culture. - Business‑savvy, entrepreneurial spirit, and rapid execution mindset. - Computer proficiency and comfortable with corporate reporting tools. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred). - Franchise or operations management certification (e.g., Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, EOS Integrator certification) is highly desirable.
