Job title: Trade Marketing Manager
Role Summary:
Lead the planning, execution, and performance of in‑store promotional activities for Food, Beverages, Tobacco, Electronics, and Toys categories across a duty‑free network, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and airport operational standards.
Expectations:
- Deliver measurable sales and margin targets.
- Maintain proactive stakeholder communication with brands, vendors, and internal teams.
- Demonstrate ownership of project timelines, budgets, and KPI reporting.
- Apply data‑driven decision making to optimize promotional impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and roll out integrated marketing plans that incorporate current market trends and brand objectives.
2. Coordinate in‑store activations, working with suppliers, category managers, supply chain, and agencies to meet airport constraints and quality standards.
3. Track and analyze KPI data (sales, margin, sales per passenger, ROI) in real‑time, and recommend corrective actions.
4. Act as the main contact for brand partners: challenge proposals, negotiate terms, and foster mutually beneficial projects.
5. Prepare regular reporting on project status, variance analysis, and partial financial forecasting.
6. Ensure at‑store visual merchandising (PLV, ILV, theatrical displays) meets aesthetic and brand guidelines, enhancing the customer experience.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade marketing, visual merchandising, or project management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of merchandising levers: point‑of‑sale displays, in‑store signage, theatrical staging.
- Advanced data analysis skills; familiarity with KPI dashboards, SAP, Power BI.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and time‑management abilities.
- Autonomy, business sense, and a results‑driven mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s (Bac+3) to Master’s (Bac+5) degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
- SAP and/or Power BI training or certification is a plus.
