Job Description
**Job Title** ESG Intern (m/f/d) **Role Summary** Assist the ESG team in collecting, validating, and analyzing ESG data across portfolio companies; support drafting of sustainability reports and ESG presentations; contribute to the development and monitoring of ESG strategies and initiatives; engage with internal stakeholders and portfolio companies to consolidate ESG information. **Expectations** - 3–6 month internship, start flexible. - Eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship). - Proactive, detail‑oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. - Strong communication, organisational, and project‑management skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Gather, validate, and analyze ESG data for portfolio companies. - Identify trends and insights to support ESG decision‑making. - Draft and prepare sustainability reports, ESG reports, presentations, and briefing materials. - Assist in the development and implementation of ESG strategies, policies, and initiatives. - Engage with internal teams and portfolio companies to gather, structure, and consolidate ESG information. - Monitor and track progress of ESG initiatives; support ongoing performance reporting. - Provide ad‑hoc research and support on ESG regulatory topics. **Required Skills** - Analytical mindset with creative problem‑solving. - Experience with ESG or sustainability datasets and data analysis. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, business, environmental science, sustainability, or a related discipline. - Prior internship or practical experience in sustainable finance, ESG, or sustainability consulting preferred.
