Job Description
Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Role Summary: Support core HR operations in a dynamic international organization: oversee recruitment, onboarding, off‑boarding, payroll liaison, employee records, compliance, and engagement initiatives. Expectations: - 2–4 years of generalist or HR operations experience. - In-depth knowledge of Belgian employment law and payroll processes. - Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end recruitment and HR lifecycle events. - Strong teamwork, confidentiality, and professional conduct. - Fluency in English; French or Dutch proficiency is a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Manage full recruitment cycle (job posting, screening, interview coordination, offer prep). - Partner with hiring managers to ensure efficient candidate selection and communication. - Coordinate onboarding (access, welcome, induction) and off‑boarding (exit docs, access removal). - Maintain accurate employee records, promotions, transfers, terminations; ensure GDPR and local law compliance. - Administer performance reviews, absence, and timesheet reporting. - Update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook as needed. - Benchmark compensation and support payroll providers for accurate processing. - Generate HR reports on headcount, changes, and movements. - Process HR invoices and monitor budget spend. - Support employee engagement strategies, surveys, and local cultural events. Required Skills: - Expertise in Belgian employment law and payroll administration. - Strong relationship‑building, communication, and organizational abilities. - Detail‑oriented data accuracy and systems management (HRIS). - Proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency. - Ability to thrive in an international, multicultural team. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous.
