Job Description
Job title: Geospatial Data (Field & Analysis) Role Summary: Acts as a Capture Specialist and Geospatial Analyst, gathering high‑resolution imagery and LiDAR data on construction and urban sites, then processing and integrating that data using ArcGIS Reality and ArcGIS GeoBIM to produce detailed digital twins and spatial analyses. Expactations: * Fieldwork 50% of the time, data collection at active sites or urban environments. * Remote/office work 50% of the time, data transfer, processing, and analysis. * Maintain safety protocols and PPE on site. * Deliver processed models and analysis to stakeholders and Field Operations Managers. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct weekly site visits to capture 360‑degree video, high‑resolution imagery, and lidar point clouds. * Operate 360‑degree cameras, terrestrial lidar scanners, and drones; maintain equipment. * Initiate daily data transfer to ensure raw files are ready for processing. * Use ArcGIS Reality and GeoBIM to transform raw data into 3D digital twins. * Integrate BIM, GIS layers, and photogrammetry into a central repository. * Perform spatial and temporal analyses to forecast events, monitor changes, and identify maintenance hot spots. * Apply AI/deep learning models to detect and classify objects within visual data. * Collaborate with Field Operations Managers to maximize contextual relevance of models. Required Skills: * Proficiency with ArcGIS software (Pro, Online, or GeoBIM). * Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans and blueprints. * Strong communication and independent work habits. * Adaptability to changing site conditions and project requirements. * Physical endurance for extended walking in active construction environments. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Geospatial Science, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. * Familiarity with lidar and photogrammetry is preferred. * No specific certifications required beyond practical GIS proficiency.
