Job Description

**Job Title:** Mobile Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, test, and maintain multi‑platform mobile applications for Bitstack’s crypto‑banking ecosystem. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver secure, performant, and user‑centric mobile experiences in a fast‑moving, compliance‑focused environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end mobile features from concept to production. - Uphold high code quality, test coverage, and security standards. - Operate autonomously while communicating effectively with cross‑functional teams. - Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and open‑source initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and ship scalable Flutter/Dart mobile applications with complex state management. - Integrate mobile front‑end with backend services (Go, Python) and SQL databases. - Write comprehensive unit and integration tests; ensure accessibility compliance. - Participate in code reviews, Git workflow automation, and daily deployments. - Collaborate on system design, technical discussions, and product roadmap alignment. - Maintain documentation and support production issues post‑release. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience delivering multi‑platform mobile apps using Flutter (or comparable framework). - Strong grasp of mobile security best practices and compliance considerations. - Proficiency in Dart, TypeScript/JavaScript, and understanding of backend interaction (REST/GraphQL). - Experience with integration testing frameworks for Flutter/React Native. - Solid knowledge of Git (branching, CI/CD) and automated workflows. - Ability to write unit tests and ensure high test coverage. - Analytical problem‑solving, self‑management, and ownership of projects. - Excellent communication in English; French a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field **or** equivalent professional experience. - No specific certifications required; demonstrated expertise through portfolio or released apps is essential.
