Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control In-Line Tech | Nights Role Summary: Responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality at every stage of manufacturing and packaging to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards. Conducts physical, chemical, sensory, and packaging inspections, records parameters, and collaborates with production teams to maintain product integrity. Expactations: - Work rotating 12‑hour night shifts, including weekends and overtime as required. - Adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements at all times. - Maintain accurate documentation and communicate any deviations promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate daily quality control activities across production lines. - Sample products for physical, chemical, and sensory evaluation to verify quality against specifications. - Inspect packaging for integrity, labeling accuracy, and compliance with standards. - Monitor and record processing parameters, ensuring they remain within established limits. - Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, initiating corrective actions. - Support the development and execution of short‑ and long‑term quality goals. - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GFSI) and internal policies. Required Skills: - Detail-oriented and organized. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Team‑player with the ability to work independently under shift constraints. - Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and perform repetitive tasks. Required Education & Certifications: - High School Diploma or GED. - 2–3 years of quality control experience in food manufacturing preferred. - HACCP or equivalent food safety certification desired.
