Job title: Content Marketing Manager, Portfolio
Role Summary: Lead field‑level content creation, editorial strategy, and marketing execution for a portfolio of four hotels and associated food & beverage outlets, ensuring each property’s brand voice, storytelling, and marketing cadence align with portfolio standards while catering to local market dynamics.
Expectations:
- Own and continually evolve the distinct voice of each property and outlet.
- Deliver cohesive, guest‑centric launches across owned and paid channels.
- Act as primary marketing partner to property teams, coordinating local partnerships, programming, and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage editorial and activation calendars across properties and channels (web, email, social, select print).
- Plan, write, and publish content for websites, digital ads, email campaigns, social media, and print collateral.
- Translate property priorities (packages, openings, seasonal moments, outlet initiatives) into launch strategies.
- Partner with local community, university, cultural, and brand organizations to support storytelling.
- Travel to properties as needed to capture content, align with teams, and ensure brand consistency.
- Analyze performance metrics (email, social, web engagement) to refine content cadence and channel approach.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years in field marketing, property marketing, or local market marketing within hospitality or closely related sectors.
- Proven content strategy execution across multiple locations with consistent, distinct local voices.
- Strong writing and editing abilities; experience shaping brand voice by channel.
- Stakeholder leadership with capability to set priorities, messaging, and channel execution.
- Project and editorial management expertise, including calendar ownership and deadline management.
- Proficiency with CMS (WordPress or similar), email/CRM platforms (Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.), and social publishing tools (Sprout, Later, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Ability to interpret performance data to improve content strategy.
- Self‑directed, comfortable traveling, building relationships in person, and operating independently while collaborating with home office.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. (No specific certifications required)
