**Job Title:** Azure DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and maintain Azure-based CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable web applications. Drive automation, infrastructure as code, and DevOps best practices across development, security, and operations teams.
**Expectations:**
- 4+ years of DevOps or cloud engineering experience.
- Proven record of architecting and operating Azure environments.
- Ability to work independently with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for web APIs, ASP.NET MVC, and cloud‑native solutions.
- Automate build, test, and deployment workflows; manage branching, versioning, and release processes.
- Provision and administer Azure services (App Service, AKS, VMs, Storage, SQL, networking).
- Deliver Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Integrate security scanning, secrets management, and vulnerability detection into pipelines.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Participate in technical design reviews, architecture decisions, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment incidents in a cross‑functional environment.
**Required Skills:**
- Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure (App Service, AKS, VMs, Storage, SQL, Networking).
- Azure networking, identity management, and security fundamentals.
- Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
- CI/CD tooling: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
- Infrastructure as Code: ARM, Bicep, Terraform.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
- Git version control, branching strategies.
- Experience with .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL) is preferred.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (or related Azure certification) is strongly preferred.
