**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer **Role Summary** Modernize and optimize DevOps practices to enhance application delivery velocity, reliability, and operational effectiveness in an Azure-based environment. Collaborate with engineering teams, data teams, and IT to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-enabled solutions. **Expectations** - Apply DevOps principles (The Three Ways, Five Ideals) to reduce operational toil and foster collaboration. - Demonstrate expertise in CI/CD pipelines, source control governance, and infrastructure-as-code. - Deliver scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure solutions. - Collaborate across teams to resolve production incidents and improve DevOps maturity. **Key Responsibilities** - Modernize build/deployment workflows (e.g., automation, orchestration). - Migrate Azure DevOps to GitHub, restructure repositories, and enable team tooling. - Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, pipelines-as-code). - Implement infrastructure-as-code (Azure compute/storage/networking) and containerization standards (Docker, Podman). - Apply configuration management and security best practices to production environments. - Provide root-cause analysis, incident resolution, and production support. - Integrate DevOps tools with ALM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow). **Required Skills** - Proficiency in CI/CD platforms (Jenkins), Git-based repositories (GitHub), and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell). - Cloud infrastructure expertise (Azure). - Containerization technologies (Docker, Podman). - Configuration management and security practices. - Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent. - Demonstrated experience in DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipeline development. - Certifications in Azure, DevOps methodologies, or related technologies preferred.
