Job Title
Salesforce Health Cloud Engineer – AI/ISV
Role Summary
Design, develop, maintain, and scale Salesforce Health Cloud managed packages and ISV applications. Collaborate with product, infrastructure, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, compliant, and upgrade‑safe features across the Salesforce ecosystem.
Expectations
- Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code and packaging solutions that meet Salesforce AppExchange security and compliance standards.
- Maintain and evolve existing ISV products, respond to support and enhancement requests, and coordinate with Salesforce support when necessary.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, Health Cloud enhancements, and emerging AppExchange trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements with product staff and translate them into technical specifications for Health Cloud ISV applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and platform events, ensuring FLS/CRUD enforcement.
- Build Lightning Web Components, Aura components, and declarative flows; apply Lightning Design System (SLDS) best practices.
- Configure namespacing, version control, dependency management, and CI/CD pipelines using SFDX, Unlocked Packages, and automated testing.
- Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing; address AppExchange security review requirements and coordinate with Salesforce security teams.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, deployment guides, and configuration manuals for packaged components.
- Monitor and optimize package performance, troubleshoot ETL and data validation workflows, and coordinate with core service infrastructure when needed.
Required Skills
- 2+ years’ experience building Managed Packages/Native Apps within Salesforce Health/Lifesciences Clouds.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, Lightning Platform, and AppExchange best practices.
- Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP, OAuth).
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Scratch Orgs, source‑driven development, Unlocked Packages, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of FLS/CRUD enforcement, asynchronous processing, and platform events.
- Familiarity with packaged dependencies, namespace management, and versioning.
- Exposure to ETL/ETL validation, database testing (PostgreSQL), and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Datadog) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell).
- Awareness of LLM usage and testing implications (nice to have).
Required Education & Certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (preferred).
