Job Description
**Job Title** Infrastructure Support Analyst **Role Summary** Provide first‑line technical support for a multi‑platform (Windows, macOS, Linux) computing environment in a biomedical research setting. Resolve incidents, maintain system stability, and collaborate with researchers and clinicians to meet their IT needs. **Expectations** Deliver timely, high‑quality support for end‑users and infrastructure assets. Maintain accurate documentation and meet established service level targets. **Key Responsibilities** - Respond to and resolve tickets for hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux. - Manage asset inventory, apply patches, updates, and perform preventive maintenance. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot problems, and recommend improvements. - Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base. - Escalate complex incidents to senior staff and coordinate with other IT teams. - Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and environment enhancements. **Required Skills** - Strong troubleshooting in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. - Knowledge of Active Directory, virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), and basic networking. - Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). - Excellent written and verbal communication; customer‑focused service orientation. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving research environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - Professional certifications preferred: CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, Linux Essentials, or equivalent.
