Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Associate **Role Summary:** Supports senior Business Development teams by building and nurturing relationships with new clients, generating revenue, and expanding the client base within the construction and related service markets. Coordinates with marketing to promote offerings and contribute to market share growth. **Expectations:** - Achieve individual annual sales targets for value-based projects. - Maintain a qualified lead and opportunity pipeline to support corporate growth. - Act as a Trusted Advisor, effectively communicating client needs and solutions. - Provide input to marketing and BD teams on emerging trends and brand positioning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify, research, and develop potential new clients; build lasting relationships. - Design and deliver customized business development proposals and presentations. - Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, negotiation, closing. - Collaborate with Marketing on event attendance, content creation, and brand promotion. - Maintain and update CRM data; train colleagues on CRM functionalities. - Analyze client results to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities. - Attend industry functions, conferences, and networking events; report insights. **Required Skills:** - Proven sales and account management experience (≥3 years) in construction, real estate, architecture or related field. - Strong written and verbal communication; excellent presentation, editing, and proofreading. - Strategic planning, organization, and multi‑project execution. - Critical thinking, analytical, research, and problem‑solving abilities. - Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). - Ability to act as a trusted advisor and build long‑term business relationships. - Competitive drive and self‑motivation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Post‑secondary degree or diploma in construction engineering, architecture, business, marketing, economics, or related discipline. - Valid driver’s license.
