**Job Title**
IT Infrastructure Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Partner with security, development, and delivery teams to align solutions with business objectives, ensuring governance, high performance, and cost efficiency across on‑prem and multi‑cloud platforms.
**Expectations**
- Deliver robust Azure and hybrid architecture that meets security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Optimize resource utilization to balance performance, cost, and security.
- Apply Zero‑Trust principles across identity, device, and network layers.
- Respond to incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and continuously improve resilience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect, deploy, and manage Azure services (Entra ID, subscriptions, RBAC, VNet, VPN, private endpoints, firewalls, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMs, storage).
- Implement ARM/Bicep infrastructure‑as‑code, governance policies, landing zones, and cost‑management controls.
- Administer Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Intune device management, and security tools (Conditional Access, DLP, Sentinel, Defender).
- Support hybrid integrations with AWS, on‑prem, and Google Workspace.
- Manage network security (NSGs, DNS, load balancers), VLANs, and switch configurations (Cisco/Juniper).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, incident response, and maintain secure routing and access controls across environments.
**Required Skills**
- Azure administration (Entra ID, subscriptions, VNet, VNets, IAM, Bicep/ARM).
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem management (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune).
- Windows Server (2016+) and on‑prem Active Directory.
- Hybrid cloud experience (Azure, AWS, on‑prem).
- Networking fundamentals: VLANs, VPNs, firewall, DNS, load balancing, Cisco/Juniper switches.
- Hyper‑V administration.
- Strong troubleshooting, security mindset, and complex infrastructure management.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (or equivalent).
- Additional security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, CompTIA Security+).
