**Job Title:** Business Developer – Industrial Water Treatment
**Role Summary:**
Drive revenue growth by expanding the client base in the industrial water treatment sector. Leverage technical expertise to propose tailored water treatment solutions, conduct technical/economic analyses, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract finalisation, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 years in a similar business‑development role, ideally within industrial water treatment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver ROI‑focused proposals and close deals.
- In‑depth knowledge of water chemistry, treatment processes, and related equipment.
- Strong client‑facing communication and account management skills.
- English proficiency required; French beneficial.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prospect, qualify, and target new accounts within assigned industrial sectors (chemical, energy, automotive, agri‑food).
- Present product, equipment, and service portfolios; deliver technical demonstrations.
- Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
- Draft, negotiate, and defend commercial offers; secure approvals.
- Manage existing client portfolio: conduct annual reviews, identify improvement opportunities, ensure service satisfaction.
- Coordinate order processing, delivery timelines, and post‑sale support with internal sales assistants.
- Monitor payment collections, non‑conformities, and resolve client issues.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies (MASE, safety, IT usage).
- Generate sales reports and dashboards via the company CRM.
**Required Skills:**
- Profound understanding of water chemistry, wastewater treatment, and associated biological processes.
- Familiarity with key treatment technologies: softeners, reverse osmosis, demineralisation, membrane filtration, ion exchange, evaporation, thermal processes.
- Proficiency in ROI‑based consultative selling and technical proposal development.
- Strong analytical, project management, and organisational capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office, CRM systems, and general IT tools.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (BAC+2) in Chemistry or Water Treatment; preferred Master’s/Engineering (BAC+5) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Water Treatment.
- Additional commercial or business‑development training is advantageous.
- Experience in industrial water‑treatment market highly valued.
