**Job Title:** Social Media Intern
**Role Summary:**
Assist in developing and executing Organic Valley’s organic and paid social media strategy across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms. Create seasonal and trend‑driven content, engage with community, conduct content audits, and analyze campaign performance to support broader marketing objectives.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver measurable engagement and performance insights for organic and paid channels.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, design, and CROPP stakeholders.
- Produce high‑quality media and copy that align with brand voice.
- Demonstrate data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement of social tactics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to comments/messages, providing timely, brand‑aligned customer service.
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts; recommend actionable improvements.
- Conceptualize, film, edit, and publish seasonal/trend‑based content, including on‑screen presentation when required.
- Analyze platform trends, evaluate emerging networks, and advise on expanding organic presence.
- Assist setting up and executing paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Write compelling ad copy, draft creative briefs, and coordinate with design for visuals.
- Monitor and report paid ad performance weekly and monthly; provide optimization recommendations.
- Meet with CROPP stakeholders to discuss roles and performance goals.
- Compile a final internship project report for leadership presentation.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong analytical ability and familiarity with social‑media metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Basic videography/editing skills and on‑camera comfort.
- Knowledge of Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program, graduating within one year of internship start.
- Coursework in marketing, communications, public relations, digital marketing, or social media.
- No specific certifications required.
