Job Description
**Job Title** Analyst, Data **Role Summary** Data Analyst on the Data team responsible for building and maintaining reporting solutions, modeling and managing data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights on customer acquisition, onboarding, and sales performance to support growth marketing and product initiatives. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, self‑serve dashboards and reports for key performance indicators. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across analytics pipelines. - Translate business questions into structured analyses and clear metrics. - Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and maintain Looker (or comparable BI) dashboards and reports for acquisition, user journey, and sales metrics. - Use SQL and dbt to model, transform, and load data from APIs, S3, and relational warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery). - Partner with data engineers/scientists to ensure data accessibility and accuracy. - Conduct deep‑dive analyses of funnel performance, experiment results, and campaign effectiveness. - Integrate data into platforms such as Salesforce, Braze, and Intercom for segmentation and personalization. - Document analysis processes, methodologies, and data definitions. **Required Skills** - Strong SQL proficiency; experience with relational databases (Snowflake, MySQL, BigQuery). - Hands‑on Python for data analysis and manipulation. - Experience with data visualization/BI tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar). - Familiarity with data modeling tools (dbt) and basic data pipeline concepts. - Ability to design and interpret A/B tests and experimental designs. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑orientation skills. - Strong written and verbal communication; capable of presenting to diverse audiences. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience. - 1–3 years of experience in data or marketing analytics (including internships/co‑ops), preferably in fintech, marketing, or financial services.
