Job Description
**Job title** Commercial Engineering Intern – Finance Active **Role Summary** 6‑month internship supporting the Public & Institutional Sales Division of a debt‑management SaaS provider. The role assists senior sales engineers in acquiring new public‑sector clients in France by prospecting, qualifying prospects, participating in meetings, and helping prepare commercial proposals and contracts. **Expectations** - Work under the Sales Director’s guidance. - Engage with high‑level decision‑makers (CEOs, CFOs, elected officials) in the French public sector. - Demonstrate strong communication and relationship‑building skills. - Show readiness to travel within France for client visits. **Key Responsibilities** - Schedule and conduct outbound phone meetings for senior sales engineers. - Qualify prospect needs in pre‑sales phase. - Attend client and prospect meetings with the sales team. - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and tracking commercial proposals and contracts. - Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing and event activities targeting the assigned region. - Maintain and update prospect data in the CRM system. **Required Skills** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in commerce, finance, business administration, or related field. - Strong written and verbal communication in French; English proficiency is an advantage. - Knowledge of the French public sector (local authorities, municipalities, public institutions). - Ability to travel for client meetings. - Proactive, organized, and detail‑oriented. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3). - Master’s degree (M1/M2) preferred. - Relevant certifications in sales, finance, or business are a plus.
