Job title: VP, Infrastructure & Cloud Services
Role Summary:
Lead the strategic vision, design, and operation of a high‑performance hybrid‑cloud infrastructure. Oversee modernization, security, and business continuity for clinical, research, and enterprise workloads across a multi‑site healthcare network.
Expectations:
• Drive enterprise infrastructure strategy, multi‑year modernization roadmaps, and cloud transformation.
• Deliver secure, scalable, cost‑optimized, and highly available environments that support care delivery, research, AI/ML, and digital experiences.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, security, engineering, clinical, research) to align technology initiatives with mission goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and optimize hybrid‑cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, SaaS) using automation, IaC, and observability.
• Lead modern data center operations – compute, storage, backup/restore, colocation, virtualization, performance tuning.
• Oversee enterprise networking: SD‑WAN, wireless, segmentation, load balancing, firewalls, VPN, Zero Trust architecture.
• Modernize identity & access management, authentication, privileged access, and directory services with cybersecurity teams.
• Direct disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and high‑availability engineering for mission‑critical systems, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage enterprise collaboration platforms, unified communications, end‑user computing, device management, and service‑desk modernization to provide a seamless user experience.
Required Skills:
• Strategic leadership in IT infrastructure and cloud operations.
• Expertise in hybrid‑cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP) and automation (IaC, observability).
• Deep knowledge of data center, networking, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Strong security acumen – Zero Trust principles, identity management, privileged access, and compliance.
• Proven ability to execute multi‑year modernization plans and cost‑governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of IT experience, including 10+ years in technology leadership roles focusing on infrastructure, cloud, and operations.
