**Job title:** Data Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Support digital transformation projects by designing, implementing, and maintaining high‑performance data integration solutions (API Management, SOA, ESB, ETL, BPM). Enable secure data pipelines for analysts and scientists, oversee cloud architecture, and collaborate across data governance, Salesforce, and cybersecurity teams.
**Expectations:**
Deliver scalable, secure data architectures; meet project deadlines; continually update knowledge of industry‑leading tools and certifications (ESB, ETL, MDM, Salesforce, cybersecurity).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement data architecture using ESB, API Management, BPM/BRMS, and cloud services.
- Write detailed technical and functional specifications in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Evaluate opportunities and select appropriate data integration tools.
- Develop solutions handling large data volumes; create raw data pipelines, collect, and transform data.
- Build algorithms and tooling for data processing and enrichment.
- Prepare data for data analysts and data scientists, ensuring security and compliance.
- Architect and maintain cloud‑based data pipelines.
- Lead technical workshops, stay current with emerging technologies, and drive innovation initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- 3+ years as data integrator in enterprise implementation projects.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Deep knowledge of SOA/ESB platforms (Talend, Informatica, DataStage, ODI, Mule, Blueway, IBM IIB, TIBCO, Red Hat Fuse).
- Experience with BPM/BRMS solutions (e.g., JRules).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Spark (Azure optional), Java.
- Expertise in web services and protocols: SOAP, REST, JSON, XML.
- Understanding of cloud architecture and data pipeline security.
- Excellent organizational abilities, initiative, active listening, and empathy.
- Continuous learning mindset and regular technology scan.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (Bac+2 to Bac+5).
- Certifications in ESB, ETL, MDM, Salesforce, or cybersecurity preferred.
